It’s been a busy & eventful summer! We’ve had two weddings in the family within 2 months of each other.💕
My youngest brother in May, and my oldest brother last month. This is my oldest brother and his beautiful new bride, along with his cute son who just celebrated his 2nd birthday!
Some of you may remember me sharing their story a couple years ago through pictures of JJ as a newborn. My sweet sister-in-law tragically passed away during childbirth from AFE a little over 2 years ago. The baby survived and my brother was left with a newborn to take care of without his wife, but accompanied by a guardian angel above. It was a rough year for our family, to say the least. Fortunately, they’ve had lots of family support and people – friends, family and strangers alike – praying for them and supporting them in countless ways.
About a year later, my brother met this beautiful girl, Katie, through work and although he had no intention to start dating anyone then, they fell in love. They just made it official last month and got married in a simple, intimate wedding overlooking the beach!
Seriously so pretty!
There was even a pod of dolphins that swam by close to the shore. If that’s not a sign of good luck and a sign from above, I don’t know what is. ❤😉

We absolutely love Katie and she fits right in with these two, and is already the greatest mom to JJ.
Before she passed away, my sister-in-law kept a blog called “LoveSharred” (their 2 names put together) and Jared continues to write their story on their blog and honor Sharry in multiple ways, including a Scholarship Treasure hunt he’s done the last couple years.
